London Olympics 2012,,,,3rd time is a Charm !!!!
London has always been a favorite city of mine, a city that has everything, History, Culture, Art, Food and sports. Now Take that wonderful package i have just described, and add another beautiful event that takes place every 4 years, The Olympics. Definitely i will go Ballistic .
The games will take place In London, from the 27th of July to the 12th of August, the best athletes from the world, will come together to compete in the 26 featured sports with their 39 disciplines.
London has become the first city to host the games three times, having previously been hosts in 1908 and 1948.
I can't wait for this amazing event to happen, it would be without a doubt an event that would keep people talking about for years.

NEW DIET, THE FEEDING TUBE
I just heard about this new diet, which a doctor insert a tube through your nose down the esophagus and into the stomach. Then basically you feed yourself through that tube, and you stay with that tube for 10 or 9 days, depends how much you want to lose.
According to the research i did, lots of brides do it to be able to fit in a wedding dress!!! so u do it and remove it 2 or 3 days before your wedding.....WHAT ENERGY WOULD YOU HAVE TO HAVE SEX.
Sorry everyone i had to say that i am so sorry.
Anyway i thought, if this is really a hit and lots of people are doing it why don't we accessorize that tube.
What i mean is instead of the tube looking like this
You have choices of having the tube a tattoo style tube like this
or a bling bling tube
or wear a traditional Emarati borqa
picture from Khaleejia's life blog
People will not see the tube coming out of your nose.
Another option is your tube would be hidden under an Indian nose ring.
Now seriously you are all my witnesses i thought of it first. Anyone planing to sell those tubes i will SUE THEM.

TRIP FROM JEDDAH TO MILAN
Now this is something i never thought would happen to me in amillion years.. The plan was very simple, direct flight to Milan then a train to Verona. The trip was after Ramadan and u remember what we said happen during Ramadan; people come and people go .. so the flight was FULLLLLLLLLL.
Got in the plane and i was so surprised they said the plane was full, but almost half of it is empty. Then all of a sudden i found out where was more than half of the passengers. A huge number of omra people came on board. I looked as they were all wearing white and holding sebha in their hands, happy for the omra they did in the holly month. A very old guy was among them, and when i say old i mean it.
We took off and then Ding Dong announcement : dear passenger is there a doctor on board. I was thinking i am not one but maybe i can pretend to be one just to make sure we arrive on time.. ya3ni what would they need a surgeon. Any way after an hour Ding Dong: dear passenger this is your captain i am sorry to announce that we have to land in Cairo as one of the passengers need medical help.
We landed in Cairo and found out that the person who they announced need medical care is actually DEAD!!!!!!!! The guy died on the plane sob7an alah, alah yer7mo. So we sat there, while they were trying to find a way to get the body off the plane. The police were questioning the guy who was responsible for the group and telling him no no u have to come with us..you have to leave the plane with the body, the guy told them that he is responsible for a big group of people on board how can he leave them. Any way the Egyptian police said: da feha gesa mosh le3b > there is a dead body this is not a game. The guy freaked out and i think he thought he will never go home.
Finnally they took the body from the back of the plane, and that was after 3 hours of waiting.
ahhhhhhhh me and my trips

I HEART CONCRETE
Toro Canyon Residence
" When John Mike and Marcia Cohen volunteered to drive their daughter’s car from Vancouver back to her Los Angeles home, they only planned to stop in Santa Barbara for a rest. But they left with a piece of property in nearby Toro Canyon. John Mike—a semi-retired architect—drew up a plan and took them to Robin Donaldson of Shubin + Donaldson. The result of the collaboration is a house whose concrete walls are massive in form, yet whose mahogany-framed windows are finely detailed. The cubist form is sleekly modern, but the living spaces are filled with color and collections that make them warm and contemporary."

TRIP FROM MOROCCO TO JEDDAH
I decided to travel 3 days before Ramadan and that was not a good idea AT ALL. I forgot that during Ramadan lots of Muslims from all around the world go to Saudi Arabia to visit Maka and Madinah for the holly month.
I had a confirmed ticket to Saudi so when i arrived at the airport i was not late but somehow they closed the gate early because the airport was packed with travellers. Any way i missed the flight, so did other people . I went to check when was the next flight the lady said the nearest one is after 2 weeks : ( i was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat ....
Went back to the hotel and the travel agency in Jeddah helped a lot. I spent 3 days....in a hotel room...alone....missing my family....during Ramadan. The next day i decided to go out and check Casablanca, but everything was closed!!! ohhh come on Moroccon people for the love of god it is just after esha prayer. The driver said he will give me a car tour and will take me to a small market which was open. The day after i decided to go out and same thing, everything was closed and it was not late, so the nice driver took me to buy some Moroccon sweet and to a cafe.
Finally the travel agency found a flight. Qatari airlines to Jeddah. All other flights where only available for omra visa holders, i didn’t know that. Any way i made my way to the airport checked in and then i found out that we had to stop at Tripoli for 1 hour ..i was ahaaa ... OK then to Qatar for 2 hours ...ahaaaaa... then to Riyadh for 5 or so hours then to Jeddah . I went to the airport round 11 p.m Saturday and when i got home it was almost 12 P.M SUNDAY so i have been between airports for almost a day ...
So instead of the normal rout, which should be like this
My special unique Na rout was like this
By the way this is nothing, wait until you hear about my flight to Milan.

FOLDBOAT
Each and every house in Jeddah should have at least one, not only houses, because it is foldable each and every car in Jeddah should carry one too.
According to the website there are 2 types, Boat 1 and Boat 2.
" Foldboat ‘Boat 1′ is made from a single sheet of P.E. plastic and folds into an easy to carry pack measuring 1m,50 by 60cm; this allows it to be easy to store and transport.Boat 1 is extremely accessible, easy to transport and very low maintenance. It is suitable for the city dweller or campers looking for a quick and easy boat. "
For ‘Multiplex at The Dock’ event hosted by Tom Dixon, we have created 5 bespoke and exclusive boats named ‘The Dock Edition’ that uses Boat 2 as a base." pictures of boat 2 are the ones at the beginning of the this post.

Round trip from Jeddah To Hargeisa
July 2010 i decided to go and see my hometown Hargeisa, which is the capitol of Somaliland,,, i have never been there and i had no clue what to expect, so i did my research, what would be the perfect airlines, what documents is required, i wanted to go there prepared.
The thing i never thought of was that no matter how prepared u are, u will always get surprises and surprised i was.
My problems started before i even left Jeddah, my flight got canceled 3 times, and on the 3rd time i swore that i wouldn't be leaving and just cancel the whole thing.
On the day of departure the agency had informed me to be at the airport at 10:30 pm which was weird when the take off was at 2:30 am, when i asked why, he said that it would be crowded at the check point and the gates will be closing at 12 Am. So i was at the airport at the time i was told, and to my lovely surprise there were no agents, in fact i was the third passenger there.
They started taking the luggages at 12:am, so far so good, i went inside the passenger area waiting to be called to board the plane, but then 2 hours passed and still no call, i looked at the board and it said that the flight to Hargeisa was on time. i was puzzled so i got up to ask the agent, he looked at me and said '' The flight is at 4:00 am '', i thought maybe he was pulling my leg, so i asked him again '' Are you sure ? '' He laughed, shook his head, and told me to go and wait at the cafe, because Jubba airlines are not accurate when it comes to their flight schedule.
Its a good thing that i sat close by the gate, or i would have definitely missed my flight, because all of a sudden i saw all the Somalis gathering calling their kids to get their pack bags and to stand in line.
Now for you who don't know Jeddah airport, we got buses that take us to the plane, so now am in the bus, so excited that am finally going to see this country of mine, that i only heard stories about. Once the bus reached the plane, everyone started rushing to the door even before it had opened, i was shocked looking at them, thinking to myself when will my people act civilized, because whether they ran to the plane or not, everyone was going to be seated according to their boarding pass seat number, little did i know that the joke was on me, because as i waited comfortably in my seat at the bus, the rest of the passengers were rushing to secure a good seat.
Where i in my whole glory was the last to reach the plane, thats when i knew i was doomed, because the minute i reached the door, i saw this flight attendant, and when i asked him for my seat, he looked at me, laughed and said '' sit where ever you like '' .
As i looked around i saw that the only available seat was the one next to the bathroom, which smelled. I sat there looking around me swearing at the agency and their fake website, claiming that it was the best of the best.
That was not the end of my nightmare, there was no safety instructions like the ones you get when you are in a real airplane, it was only this one flight attendant and a Russian Pilot who was wearing a stripped t-shirt with a pair of jeans, when the plane started to take off, everything around me shook, and i swore i thought i was going to die, started saying my prayers, crying that this would be the last time i ever see my loved ones.
After an hour of flying we landed in Aden so that the plane could fill its tank. Then we continued with our journey, when it was time for the food, i was expecting to be served a decent meal, oh to my genuine surprise i saw the flight attendant carrying a box of water bottles, and started to pass them around with mixed fruit juice, and one of those croissants that come in a pack thats sold in local stores.
I wanted to reach my destiny, because the suspense was killing me, not knowing if this plane would crash. Thank God it was only a 4 hour flight, and till today i don't know how i made through it.
On my way back, I have learned my lesson, meaning i was the first at the gate, no way i was going to be seated next to a smelly bathroom, funny thing is even though everything was fine, there had to be a twist to make this trip so memorable.
45 minutes after taking off, the plane landed in Djibouti, i double checked my ticket, and no where was it written that we were going to land there. It turns out they don't tell you that when heading back to Jeddah, you literally stay in Djibouti for 8 hours, and that was not all, i wasn't prepared for this other nightmare, i had not eaten anything thinking i would be with my family during lunch time, little did i know that i would be starving and waiting in a weird airport for 8 hours.
When they decided to let us know that it was time for us to be on the plane, i was too tired to care where i sat, i just wanted to be with my mom. The plane took off and landed again because of technical problems, so we had to wait for another 2 hours, and then we were on our way.
I reached Jeddah safe and sound, and seeing my mom at the airport waiting for me, made me forget this whole experience.
Till my next post on another flight ,,,
