What would you take with you if there is a fire in your house?



When i saw the website i was surprised by some of the pictures. So i guess the question was what would you take if a fire started in your house, because some of the entries are hmmmmm ...lets see what some people listed and you decide.

Thibault Fraimond from France. Some of what was listed:

• Packet of Chewing-gum.
• Beer 50cl Desperados.
• Box of medicines for headhache.
• Box of Apricot jam. <--------Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???OOH god there is a fire have to get my jam have to get my jam hooooooney grap the jam, well unless you are hiding diamonds in it.

• My grandmother’s necklace and mother’s earing; which is cool I understand.
• My favorite shirt and belt.
• Then she listed Measuring spoons???????? No comment.

World map I purchased while living in Vietnam <----I understand but is it the last world map in the world? or is it a map of all the treasures bUrried all around the world?
Blistex lip medex, I just love using this, works really well  <---- Blistex!!!!!! works really well if your house is on fire, just rub it on lower lip first then upper lip.

Nina will take

Her computer and her bag. Inside the bag Nina carries everything and when i say everything i mean it.

I will open her bag now and list things in it:

Makeup bag, perfume, identification card, passport ( she takes it with her wherever she goes, every single fucking day ), wallet, labello lip balm, hair bands, earrings ( still new ), pills ( painkillers, antibiotic....and more ), sun-glasses, an empty box for the glasses she is wearing, ipod, 2 sachet of lipton chai latte caramel,

mobile phone charger, wire that connects her phone to her computer, a computer mouse, headsets, a wedding invitation for a wedding that happened on the Feb 18th 2010, DVD,  2 books, Kleenex pocket pack, ribbon ( don't ask for what ), lighter, chewing gum, toothpaste a tiny one, pen and a marker, lots of papers, face cream, keys.

After couple of minutes she remembered something very important to take, and it was:

" oh and the charger for my laptop " loool

Now Nana will take

If i have time i will just try to throw everything from the window.

How to Make 10 Natural Beauty Products/ Nina's Challenge

I'm the type that doesnt really take care of herself, in the beauty fashion that is, why ?????  i seriously have no clue, dont get me wrong ppl,  hygine is an important factor in my life. its just i dont tend to spend lots of time infront of the mirror fussing about my dry skin, or the fact that i have to put cream after i shower.

So i decided to have this experiment. My 31st birthday is close and i will try the whole beautifying natural products that i have displayed in the blog and see the results on November 26.

Until You hear from me again, i hope you enjoy reading this and try some of the amazing tips that (thedaily green) has posted on their website .

1.  Mayonnaise-Baby Oil Dry Skin Treatment

2 tablespoons real mayonnaise

1 teaspoon baby oil

Combine both ingredients. Smooth onto face, neck, rough elbows and knees or anywhere else you feel might benefit from it. Leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly with tepid water

2. Honey-Avocado Invigorating and Revitalizing Hair Treatment
1 medium avocado — peeled and stoned

2 tablespoons honey

Mash together the ingredients in a small bowl. Massage into hair. Leave for 20-30 minutes. Wash hair as usual.

3.  Tightening/Toning Lemon Egg White Mask

Juice from 1/2 a lemon (strained) 

1 egg white

 Beat together the egg white and lemon juice for 3 minutes. Apply directly to your face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

4. Vegetable Oil Nail Strengthener

2 tsp castor oil 

2 tsp salt 

1 tsp wheat germ oil

Pour all ingredients into a sealable bottle. Before each use shake well. Rub a small amount of the mixture onto your nails. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Wipe off with a cotton pad.

5.  Honey-Cocoa Butter Lip Balm

2 tbls. olive oil 

1/2 tsp. honey 

3/4 tsp. beeswax — grated 

1/2 tsp. pure cocoa butter 

Flavored oil of your choice (like peppermint or vanilla) 

1 vitamin E capsule

In a small saucepan, heat oil, honey, wax and butter over a low heat until just melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes. Stir in flavoring and contents of vitamin E capsule. Pour into containers of your choice.

6. The Ultimate Sea Salt Body Scrub

1 cup course sea salt 

1/2 cup baby oil

Stir the ingredients together in a bowl and put into a screw top jar. Leave for 24 hours. Stir the mixture and apply to any areas of the body you wish to exfoliate. Massage into the skin for a few minutes then shower off.  Pat your skin dry.

7.  Revitalizing Face Mask with Egg White, Cucumber and Avocado

1/2 cup chopped cucumber 

1/2 cup chopped avocado 

1 egg white 

2 tsp. powdered milk

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender until they form a smooth paste. Apply the mask to your face and neck using circular upward movements. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, or until dry.Rinse your face and neck with warm water and finish with a cold water rinse.This mask will keep up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator if you need to prepare it slightly in advance.

8. Brown Sugar Hand Softener

1/4 cup course brown sugar 

Baby oil to make into a paste

Mix together. Using a hand washing motion apply the mixture to the hands. Continue the washing motion for a minute then rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

9. Peach and Egg White Firming Spa Mask

1 ripe peach — peeled and stoned 

1 egg white

Whip peach and egg white together in a blender till smooth. Gently pat mixture over face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

10.  End-of-Day Foot Spa

1/2 cup Epsom salts

Essential oils of your choice

Fill either a foot bath or your bath tub to ankle height with warm water. Dissolve 1/2 cup Epsom salts in the warm water and add the essential oil of your choice (lavender, rosewood, patchouli and sandalwood are relaxing oils, while lemongrass and eucalyptus are uplifting) Soak for 10-15 minutes. Pat dry and moisturize.

Isn't this amazing.

This project was made by Duncan Wilson and Sirkka Hammer.

Each one has four layers of different tones of grey paper and the last paper or base is a layer of bright color. 

As you pick up the notes, the wall changes aesthetically.

 

We all use Post-it notes to remid us of something or to leave a note to others, to organize.....etc a very useful thing and a must have in any home or office. But others look at it not only as a productivity tool… they see it as a medium to Create colorful art.

Alfutaisi Island. Abu-Dhabi. The small island that you can see from space...

 

 

Futaisi Island was recently in the news for the discovery of 22 ancient water catchments by archeologists. The islands history is likely to date back hundreds of years judging by the existence of old water wells, an ancient mosque and a grave yard.

 According to reviews i found online it's a nice place to visit for a day not longer because there is nothing much to do there YET.
So if you are planing to go there or to Abu-Dhabi and you see the bellow image from the plane...yes from the plane. Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, 63, has ordered to dig his name in sand on an  island he owns with letters so big they can be seen from space.
